Usage
The DORY 50 Box warm air and radiant heaters are designed for heating workshops, storage rooms, industrial buildings, as well as residential spaces, guesthouses, restaurants, halls, club rooms, and recreational facilities. The heaters are suitable for burning both softwood and hardwood, or wood briquettes.
The DORY Box heaters can be used not only for local heating but also for heating remote rooms or entire buildings via warm air ducts and a fan. The heaters can be installed outside the heated area, such as in a boiler room or technical room. The fan blows air into the lower rear part of the heater, where it flows along the casing and is warmed by the heat exchanger, then exits through two flanges at the back of the heater. This system ensures maximum heat transfer and high efficiency. The heated air can be distributed through warm air ducts, which can be enclosed and equipped with a filtration system. The heater is equipped with an electronic control for the fan speed (LTR), ensuring optimal airflow based on temperature.
Thoughtful Design and Quick Heat Development
The DORY 50 Box heater features a well-thought-out design that includes a casing, a warm air heat exchanger, and a radial fan for blowing hot air. Combined with the secondary combustion system (CB), this design guarantees very high efficiency. The warm air heat exchanger effectively extracts the maximum heat from the flue gases, significantly reducing heating costs.
The heat exchanger is equipped with a cleaning mechanism that allows for easy cleaning of the heat exchange surfaces. This cleaning mechanism is operated via a pull lever, simplifying maintenance and ensuring proper function and maximum efficiency of the heat exchanger.
Another advantage of the heater’s design is the rapid heat development. Just a few minutes after starting, the fan begins distributing warm air throughout the heated space. The fan is located in the lower rear part of the heater, protecting it from damage in case of a power outage.
Clean Combustion
The DORY 50 Box heaters meet the strictest European emission standards thanks to the fire chamber lined with heat-resistant fireclay bricks, which maintain high temperatures in the combustion chamber, and the two-chamber secondary combustion system (CB). This system ensures very low emissions and up to 40% lower fuel consumption compared to conventional heaters of similar performance. The heat-resistant fireclay bricks also protect the internal metal parts of the combustion chamber from high temperatures, significantly extending the heater’s lifespan.
Simple Power Regulation
The heater’s power can be easily regulated via the primary air supply using an adjustable flap in the door. The rear primary and secondary air settings are already optimized from the factory.
The heater is equipped with a control unit for regulating the fan speed, which blows out the hot air. The unit can operate in automatic or manual mode. In the automatic mode, which is factory-set, the fan speed is adjusted based on the current temperature and the heater’s performance.
