The Pyro LUMA 5 wood gasification stoves, available in both radiant and warm air models, are designed to heat various living spaces such as vacation homes, apartments, single-family houses, and restaurants. They are equipped with a Central Air Supply (CPV) system, making them suitable for use in low-energy homes.
Thoughtful Construction and Design
The modern wood gasification stove Pyro LUMA 5 features an attractive, minimalist, and luxurious design with rounded shapes. It not only provides perfect and clean combustion with high efficiency but also includes an extremely effective glass cleaning system using secondary air. The stove utilizes unique technology for wood gasification in two combustion chambers.
The innovative construction and convenient operation with simple control elements, combined with the double-glazed doors, enhance the overall efficiency and functionality of the stove. With the CPV system (Central Air Supply), the Pyro LUMA 5 can also be used for heating low-energy houses.
Captivating View
The two glazed doors offer a novel, unconventional view of wood combustion. In the upper combustion chamber, you can admire the primary flickering of the fire, while the lower chamber showcases the spectacular gasification flame burning downward.
Perfect Combustion
Through gasification and combustion of the fuel in the lower chamber, the stove achieves high efficiency and low fuel consumption. It is not only economical but also environmentally friendly. The Pyro LUMA 5 meets and far exceeds the new emission standards, even under partial or minimal load.
Cladding Variants
The stove is available in two design versions: standard metal and exclusive stone cladding. The stone cladding is available in various color options to match your interior. The stove is coated with a special heat-resistant, smoke-resistant, and abrasion-resistant paint in anthracite or gray tones.
Function of the Stove
By igniting the fuel in the upper chamber, wood gas is produced. When the upper primary chamber door is closed, the wood gas flows through a fireproof nozzle with a grate, which is built between the chambers, into the lower secondary chamber, where it is enriched with preheated secondary air and burned at high temperatures.
The gasification and combustion of the fuel in the lower chamber result in very low emissions (only 18.5 mg of particulate matter) and unparalleled efficiency of over 85% with low fuel consumption. The reversed gasification flame operates without a fan and electricity, using the natural draft of the chimney.
Technical Solution for Heat Transfer
The flame exiting the lower secondary chamber is not only a beautiful sight but also very hot (600 to 900°C). The hot flue gases flow through a warm air heat exchanger designed to absorb as much heat as possible.
After ignition, the stove radiates heat not only through pleasant radiation from the glass doors and stove body but also convectively through the side and rear panels, which are part of the warm air heat exchanger.
Performance Regulation
The stove’s performance can be easily controlled by adjusting the primary air supply via the first lever located at the lower part of the stove. The second lever controls the secondary air supply, affecting the combustion process and flame length in the lower combustion chamber.
